In response to the worst global recession in half a century, Prime Minister Harper’s Government swiftly implemented Canada’s Economic Action Plan; to protect Canadian families across the country, to create jobs by building infrastructure, and to build the economy of tomorrow by making strategic investments.

The Auditor General recently confirmed the successs of this endeavour, reporting that our Government acted quickly and effectively in the design and implementation of the Economic Action Plan.

In fact since July 2009, Canada’s Economic Action Plan has helped create nearly 650,000 net new jobs. The IMF and the OECD predict that Canada will be a world leader on economic recovery and growth this year and next.

Here at home, Mark is proud of the Economic Action Plan funding that York Centre has received.

Everywhere in York Centre, our neighbours and friends are benefitting from Mark’s strong representation.
